PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Tedizolid is a protein synthesis inhibitor that prevents bacteria from growing by binding to the 23S ribosomal RNA of the 50S subunit.It is an antibiotic that treats acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI) in adults and children 12 years and older.

INDICATIONS

Tedizolid phosphate is indicated for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (SSSIs) caused by susceptible isolates of the following gram-positive microorganisms: Staphylococcus aureus (including methicillin-susceptible [MSSA] and methicillin-resistant [MRSA] isolates), Streptococcus spp.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

  • Shelf life: 3 years (36 months).
  • Store at controlled room temperature (20-25°C [68-77°F]); excursions permitted to 15-30°C (59-86°F).Storage time of the reconstituted solution in the vial should not exceed 24 hours.
