PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sugammadex is a medication for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium and vecuronium in general anaesthesia. It belongs to the class of antidotes.

DOSAGE FORM

Injection: 200mg/2mL (100mg/mL); 500mg/5mL (100mg/mL) single dose vials. Clear, colorless to slightly yellow-brown, non-pyrogenic aqueous solution.

INDICATIONS

It is the first selective relaxant binding agent (SRBA).It is used to reverse the effects of the muscle relaxants rocuronium and vecuronium, which are given to patients during surgery.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

  • Shelf life: 3 years (36 months)
  • Storeat 25°C (77°F), with excursions permitted to 15°C to 30°C. After reconstitution and dilution, store at 2 to 8° C and use within 24 hours.
