PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Letermovir is an antiviral medication used for prophylaxis in adult transplant recipients at risk of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection and disease.

2-[(4S)-8-fluoro-2-[4-(3-methoxyphenyl)piperazin-1-yl]-3-[2-methoxy-5-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4H-quinazolin-4-yl]acetic acid.

DOSAGE FORM

Injection: 240mg/12mL (20mg/mL) solution for single-dose vial.

INDICATIONS

Letermovir is used alone or together with another medicine (eg, cyclosporine) to prevent cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection and disease in patients who have received an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell (bone marrow) transplant or in patients who have received kidney transplant who have a high risk for getting CMV.
