PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A drug that reduces the amount of acid made in the stomach. It is used to treat stomach ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (a condition in which acid from the stomach causes heartburn), and conditions in which the stomach makes too much acid. Lansoprazole is a type of proton pump inhibitor (PPI).

DOSAGE FORM

Capsule: 30 mg, 60mg Per Oral

INDICATIONS

It’s used for indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux and gastroesophageal-reflux-disease (GORD). Lansoprazole is also taken to prevent and treat stomach ulcers. Sometimes, lansoprazole is taken for a rare condition caused by a tumour in the pancreas or gut called Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

  • Shelf life: 2 years (24 months) Unopened
  • Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
