PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
It is a type of anthracycline antibiotic and a type of topoisomerase inhibitor. Also called 4-demethoxydaunorubicin and Idamycin PFS. It blocks a certain enzyme needed for cell division and DNA repair and may kill cancer cells.

Injection: 20mg per 20ml (1mg/ml) vial for intravenous use.
INDICATIONS
Idarubicin is an anthracycline antineoplastic agent used to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adults. An orally administered anthracycline antineoplastic. The compound has shown activity against breast cancer, lymphomas and leukemias, together with the potential for reduced cardiac toxicity.
