PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Deflazacort is used to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a rare, inherited muscle disease that occurs usually in children and young adults and is caused by an absence of a protein called dystrophin, which helps keep muscle cells intact. Deflazacort is corticosteroid (cortisone-like medicine or steroid).

INDICATIONS

It is used inGlucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties indicated for the treatment of endocrine, rheumatic, collagen, dermatological, allergic, ophthalmic, hematological, neoplastic, renal, gastrointestinal and neurological diseases.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

  • Shelf life: 3 years (36 months)
