Bupivacaine Hydrochloride in Dextrose Injection, USP is an amide-local anesthetic and sterile hyperbaric aqueous solution.

INDICATIONS
Bupivacaine 0.5% w/v with glucose solution for injection is indicated in adults and children of all ages for intrathecal (subarachnoid) spinal anaesthesia for surgery (urological and lower limb surgery lasting 2– 3 hours, abdominal surgery lasting 45– 60 minutes).

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
- Shelf life: 3 years (36 months)
- Suspension is stable for 2 weeks after reconstitution if stored at room temperature. Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F); excursions permitted between 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F).
