SPEI–CoDi®: How Payments Work in Mexico
Safety in the SPEI–CoDi® system is ensured by Banco de México, which operates Mexico’s official secure electronic payment network.
SPEI-CoDi® (Interbank Electronic Payment System):
Once your transfer is completed, the approval time is typically 1–5 minutes.
Dear Customer:
Please be assured that your purchase with Medonefarma Medical is protected. We use Mexico’s trusted payment gateways SPEI and CoDi, which process your transfer directly from your bank to our bank with instant direct deposit.
SPEI® is Mexico’s national interbank transfer system that enables fast and secure payments from one bank account to another. Each payment order includes information identifying both the sender and the receiver, ensuring accurate and reliable delivery of funds.
Participating banks send payment orders to recipient banks within about 30 seconds, and once received, the funds are immediately credited to Medonefarma Medical’s bank account.
CoDi (Cobro Digital) is a digital payment method created by Banco de México. It allows individuals and businesses to make secure, efficient, and instant transactions through their mobile banking apps, supporting a modern and cashless payment experience.
Global Buyers:
Note that all businesses in Mexico, including Medonefarma, must generate official electronic invoices (CFDI) through an accounting system directly connected to SAT, Mexico’s national tax authority. This guarantees Buyer’s an official, government-validated invoice for every purchase, offering full transparency and purchasing confidence.
Valued customer thank you for your business!
