PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Gadobutrol injection is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent that is used to help create a clear picture of the body during an MRI scan.

10–[(1SR,2RS)–2,3–dihydroxy–1–hydroxymethylpropyl]–1,4,7,10– tetraazacyclododecane–1,4,7–triacetic acid, gadolinium complex.

DOSAGE FORM

Injection: 1 mmol gadobutrol/mL (equivalent to 604.72 mg gadobutrol/mL). Available forms2 ml, 7.5 ml and 15 ml vials for single dose and 30ml for multiple dose vials.

INDICATIONS

Gadobutrolis a gadolinium-based contrast agent indicated for intravenous use in diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in adults and children (2 years of age and older) to detect and visualize areas with disrupted blood brain barrier (BBB) and/or abnormal vascularity of the central nervous system.
