NEOSTIGMINE (LIQUID)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Neostigmine is an inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase. It is used to treat myasthenia gravis, paralytic ileus, and glaucoma, and postoperatively to reverse skeletal muscle relaxation caused by competitive reversible neuromuscular blocking agents such as vecuronium.

INDICATIONS

Neostigmine is used for the symptomatic treatment of myasthenia gravis by improving muscle tone. It is also used to prevent or treat certain kidney or intestinal problems.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

  • Shelf life: 3 years (36 months).
