PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Midazolam is a benzodiazepine. It is a short-acting hypnotic-sedative drug with anxiolytic, muscle relaxant, anticonvulsant, sedative, hypnotic, and amnesic properties.

INDICATIONS

Midazolam is a central nervous system (CNS) depressant medication that’s used to: 

  • Relieve anxiety
  • Treat tension
  • Relax muscles
  • Produce drowsiness or sleepiness
  • Create amnesia so patients don’t remember the discomfort or side effects of a procedure or surgery
  • Cause a decreased state of consciousness in ICU patients who are breathing with the help of a machine

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE

  • Shelf life: 3 years (36 months)
